Today’s Jumper Spotlight is, Kate Dolan, known also as @KDHays on Twitter.
Kate Dolan is a writer of award-winning historical fiction and romance, who sets many of her stories in her home state of Maryland. Inspired by her daughter, who jumps for the Kangaroo Kids jump rope team, Kate used jump rope as the basis for her most recent book, Roped In. Read the synopsis below:
Poor Karen is trying to re-establish her reputation as an investigator after getting fired during her last case. But she’s not sure how she’s going to be taken seriously when her next two cases involve a broken jump rope and a dead parrot.
In the meantime, her daughter has developed a secret social life, her son can’t be trusted with the toaster oven and her love life is starting to get very strange. And in the office, Rodney the Office Maximizer has new plans to make D.S. Investigations even more professional. There may not be enough caffeine in the world to deal with this.
Kate’s daughter isn’t the only one in her family that has experience jumping. Kate Dolan has coached with her daughters team, Kangaroo Kids, for 8 years, and now works with a Baltimore team called Jump for Joy.
